He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Eldred and Elsie Evans Burton; his sister Shirley Whitley; and his niece Chelsea Moore. He is survived by: his wife Linda Burton of Alba; his daughters, Dotty Thornton (Bill) of Alba, Ellie Burton of Chatsworth, GA and Jessica Myers (Charles) of Alba; his siblings, Glenn Burton (Thressa) of Dallas and Jody Short of Corinth; his grandchildren, Zachary Thornton (Lana), Jaxson Thornton (Pressi), Travis McTaggart, Brielynn Myers and Evelynn Myers; and his great grandchild Alex Wettach. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
