With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marjorie Ruth Corbitt (Alba, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 74. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Corbitt; her children, Ernie Bryant (Ali), Peggy Eaves and John Corbitt (Marlo); her grandsons, Johnathan Eaves, Beau, Luke Bryant, Jake Bryant, Dalton White and Brock Corbitt; her brother Matt Baker (Cindy Beth); her brothers-in-law, Rick Rumfelt and James Holman; her nieces and nephews, Jenny, Boedy, Sancy, Brenna, Bubba, Maggie, Margie, Mary, Pete, Bucky, Cliff, Donald, Josh, Kelley and Katie; her parents, Morris Baker and Billie Baker; and her siblings, Mary Baker, Wendell Baker (Lana), William Baker and Cindy Rumfelt.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the First Baptist Church of Alba (219 Holley St #200, Alba, TX 75410). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
