It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Poston Means of Alba, Texas, born in Gilmer, Texas, who passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Edgar and Mary Ann Moore (Brown); her husband John E. Means; the father of her children James D. Poston; and her siblings, Billy, Ann, Dan, Beth, Grayborn, Carl and Sandra.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim (Carol) of Tyler and Gilley (Gay) of Alba; her grandchildren, Ashley Nelson (Brian) of Charlottesville, VA., Lindsey Pond (Brian) of Midland, TX, Dakota Poston (Alicia) of Alba, TX and Chelsey Sheehan (Riley) of Pflugerville, TX; and her great grandchildren, Maddox, Hensley, James, Johnny, Lucas and Everett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
