He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Newton Howard and Hilda Marrett Howard; his wives, Maudie Howard and Marjorie Mezzell Howard; and his son Daniel P. Howard Jr..
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Laura Troyer (Gary) of Alba and Les Turner (Judy) of Bremen, Indiana; his great grandchildren, Tiffany Seale (Josh), Jason Turner and Joshua Turner (Maryssa); and his great great grandchildren, Stormy Troyer, Joel Turner and Seth Turner. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
