He was predeceased by: his father Willie Gonzalez, Sr.; and his brother Gilberto Gonzalez. He is survived by: his wife Cristina Gonzalez of Alamo; his children, Melissa Ann Gonzalez Garate (Jeremy) of McAllen and Michael Lee Gonzalez (Abby) of Alamo; his granddaughter Madalyn Rae Gonzalez; his mother Carolina Gonzalez of Alamo; and his siblings, Nora Garza of McAllen, Melida Chavarria (Joe) of San Antonio and Roy Gonzalez (Sylvia) of Alamo.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home - San Juan (311 E Expressway 83, San Juan, TX 78589). A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (219 N 9th St, Alamo, TX 78516). A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Palm Valley Memorial Gardens (4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577).
