He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Montemayor Sr. and Virginia Montemayor; and his siblings, Lupita Perez, Consuelo Montemayor, Nicolas Montemayor and Juan Montemayor Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Maria Elizabeth Montemayor; his children, Ana Patricia Jeter (Tim) and Roman Esteban Montemayor (Darlene Schneider); his granddaughters, Laney and Libby Schneider; and his siblings, Aracelia Garcia of Hidalgo, Jose Montemayor of Mission, Herlinda Montemayor of Hidalgo, Alfredo Montemayor of Edinburg and Heriberto Montemayor. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
