He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Mendoza and Elvira Mendoza; and his siblings, Pedro Mendoza and Juana Peña. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jesus, Jaziel, Rodolfo, Mateo, Mia and Yasira; and his siblings, Jesus Mendoza, Angelica Cantu, Marisela Villalobos, Marta Muñoz, Agustina Rodriguez, Lupita Rodriguez, Magdalena Mendoza and Carmela Gonzalez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
