She was predeceased by: her parent Micaela Herrera (Campos). She is survived by: her father Rodrigo Herrera; her children, Javier I Correa, Gabriela Canizales, Brenda Canizales, Berenice Canizales and Humberto Gamez; and her siblings, Veronica Ipiña, Sergio Herrera and Marco A. Herrera.
