He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Quintero; his parents, Isaac Quintero and Josefa Quintero; and his siblings, Heliodoro Quintero, Luis Quintero, Juan Quintero, Maria Quintero and Inez Quintero.

He is survived by: his daughters, Alicia Q. Ramirez (Jesus), Teresa Bonds (Steven) and Linda Roybal (Charles); and his grandchildren, McKenna, Gabrielle, Noe, Jonathan, Christopher, Joshua, Chace, Alex and Leilah.
