She is survived by: her husband Carlos Cruz; her children, Joanne Martinez (Luz), David Martinez (Lerissa), Elicia Guntrum (Joe), Jill Joy (Chris) and Tony Cruz; her grandchildren, Ulysses, Aliana, Grace, Joella, Olivia, Andrew, Ariana, Emma, Isabel, Lucas, Bennett and Charlie; and her siblings, MaryAnn Singleterry (Willie), Herbert Anaya (Norma), David Anaya (Esperanza) and Rose Szeremet (Daniel). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
