It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell Lee Sparks Sr. of Adkins, Texas, born in Haskell, Texas, who passed away on September 26, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Huebert Clarence Sparks and Wanda Joyce Melton; and his son Gary Lynn Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Maria Sparks; his children, Cristy L. Sparks (Jared Sparks) of San Antonio, Wendell L Sparks Jr. (Maria Sparks) of Brackettville and Gregory L. Sparks of San Antonio; his sister Pam McKenzie of Abilene; his grandchildren, Ekko A. Sparks, Oshin Z. Sparks, Isabella G. Canales, Jupiter R. Sparks, Dustin L. Sanchez and Chloe L. Sparks; his great grandchildren, Serenity L. Flores, Gabriela L. Flores, Zaiya L. Flores and Valor L. Sanchez; and his pet Rusty.
