He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Emil Hoog and Emma Mary Schmitt Hoog; his former wife Joan "Jody" Hoog; and his siblings, Joseph "Joe" (Gertrude Hoog), Thomas "Tommy" (Zonie Hoog), Robert (Irene Hoog), Francis (Edna Hoog), Albert William Hoog, Kitty (Floyd Tondre), Mary (Jack Ulbrich), Dorothy, Albert John Hoog and Anthony Louis Hoog.
He is survived by: his former wife Joan Agnes "Jody" Kohrman; his wife Jo Hoog of Adkins; his children, Jerry (Sara Hoog), Julie (Jimmy Van Horn), David (Kelly Hoog) and Cindy (DeLynn Mason); and his grandchildren, Sarita Trosper (Reed), Josh Turcotte (Paula), Ria Flatten (Mike Flatten), Seth Turcotte (Cissy), Patrick Hoog (Chelsae), R. T. Hoog (Kelsey), Kohrman Hoog, Harrison Hoog, Jillian Hoog, Katherine Hoog, Kristine Van Horn, Daniel Van Horn, Jody Van Horn, Reagan Uhl (Karlie) and Ryan Uhl. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
