He was predeceased by: his parents, David A. Soliz and Rafaela Canales; his son Eugene Soliz; and his siblings, Rebecca C. Soliz, Eugene Soliz and Ruben Soliz.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa S. Soliz; his children, Teresita Alvarado (Ceasar) and Billy Paul Soliz (Desiree); his grandchildren, James Lee Anaya Jr., Desiree Anaya, Joshua Ortega and Sabrina Ortega; his siblings, Rafaela Kee, Sarah Soliz, Jose Soliz (Juanita) and Josie Contreras (Lupe); and his cousin Manuel Arcos (Manuel Nieto). He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
