With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benjamin Joseph Adamcik of Addison, Texas, who passed away on May 3, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Adamcik and Henrietta Adamcik (Muras); and his brother Frank Adamcik (Dot) of DeSoto, TX. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Adamcik (Brooks); his children, Brian Adamcik (Kallie) of Keller, TX, Jeff Adamcik (Maureen) of Addison, TX, Christy Gammill (Bill) of Dallas, TX, Jason Adamcik of Allen, TX, Eric Hoopes (Tara) of Port Republic, MD, Stephanie Fine (Dan) of Dallas, TX and Ryan Hoopes (Emily) of Dallas, TX; and his sister Lucy Janda (Tony) of Houston, TX. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews from his thirteen brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation to help find a cure for Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma (AITL).
