She was predeceased by: her parents, S. I. Wharton and Beattrace Wharton; her husband Floyd Maddox; and her siblings, Viva Littlefield and Marshall Wharton.
She is survived by: her son Ben B. Maddox of Abilene.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the North's Funeral Home (242 Orange St, Abilene, TX 79601).
