With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Walter A. Fowler of Abilene, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fowler Sr. and Lurlee Fowler. He is survived by: his siblings, Loyd, Joe and Opal Smith; his wife Mable Lorene Campbell; his stepchildren, Brenda and Lawrence Bennett; his son Gary Don Fowler; his daughter-in-law Marsha of Abilene; his stepgranddaughter Courtnee Hembree of Midland; and his grandchildren, Anna (Dewey Avant) and James Ray Story of Buffalo Gap. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
