She was predeceased by: her parents, Grayden Blackwell and Ernie Naomi (Barnes); her husband Charles Schaff; her children, Kenneth Berry and Alisa Davis; her granddaughter Tana Simpson; her brother-in-law John Ferguson; and her nephew Clay Ferguson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Simpson (Steve) of Early and Lisa Ann Berry of Abilene; her sister-in-law Nancy Ferguson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her nephew Matt Ferguson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her niece Jeri Louise; her grandchildren, Desire Nicole Bryan, Teresa Marie Barnes, Tony Charles Jimenez (Sharon), Jakab Drew Berry (Renee) and Austin Ray Simpson (Shaunna Kay); and her great grandchildren, Emma Barnes, Barron Barnes, Jovani Jimenez, Brielle Jimenez, Dallas Jimenez, Natalee Marderosian, Kash Marderosian and Lilli Roberts. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in honor of Violet to Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude's.
