Travis Swinney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2023, at the age of 84, Travis Swinney of Abilene, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee "Pete" Swinney and Eva "Elsie" Riggan Swinney; his brother James Swinney; and his daughter Mary Roeder. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Swinney; his children, Sherry Roeder (Craig), Yvonne Peterson (Rick), Dwayne Staggs (Alischa) and Tommy Staggs (Lori); his sister Wanda Bewley; and his grandchildren, Zachary Catledge, Renee Gibson (Rick), Sarah Garrison (Jeff), Tracy Matthews (Eric), Corrie Gillham (Dustin), Nathan Staggs (Dara), Ashley Staggs (Charles), Jessica Peterson, Shyanne Peterson and Brad Peterson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Hendrick Hospice of Abilene.
