In the vast expanse of eternity, Tommy Ray shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Tommy Ray farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, E. R. Smith and Lillie Smith; his wife Glenda Faye McMillan; his son Darran Smith; and his sisters, Rosalee McGee and Lilly Mae Evans.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Smith (Vonda) of Denton Valley, Rickey Smith (Sandra) of Abilene and Karran Stites (Kenny) of Abilene; and his sister-in-law Judy Gibbs of Clyde. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Dudley Cemetery (12299 Farm to Market 1178 S, Abilene, TX 79602).
