He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Edington and Goldia Klutz Edington; his son Stephen; and his grandson Terry Edington. He is survived by: his wife Becky; his children, Michael Edington (Kelli), Lisa Reece (Jerry), Mark (Lisa), Tiffany Bates and Derek Thomas; his sister Lana Rosenthal; his brother-in-law Ed Wootton (Les Wootton); and his nephew Garin Wootton. He is also survived by 2 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pioneer Drive Baptist Church (701 S Pioneer Dr, Abilene, TX 79605). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Elmwood Memorial Park (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606).
