She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hugh Tom Herring and Ida Conaway Ripley Herring; her husband Tommy Blanton; her brother-in-law Larry Cooper; her sister Mary Ann; her brother-in-law Richard Chaffin; her sister Joy Cooper of Richardson, Texas; her close friend Robert Peden; and her children, Dawn Hoyt (Brian) of Chico, Donna Blanton of San Antonio, Jim Littleton (Mary Anne) of Adkins, David Littleton (Brenda) of San Antonio and Doug Blanton of Sandy Springs, Georgia.. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved deeply; nieces, nephews, and cousins; and friends.
As such, memorials may be made to the Hondo Methodist Church, Samaritan's Purse, or a charity of your choice having the same goal.
