Russell Souders Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Russell Souders of Abilene, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 3, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Russell and Mary Lou Neece Souders; his parents-in-law, Robert and Idell Kirkley; his brother Clinton; his sister-in-law Mary Ann Ward; his sister Marty Lou; and his brother-in-law Jay Thomas Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Kirkley Souders; his children, Russell Souders, Jr. (Kristen Staton Souders) and Robin Souders Pritchett (Steven Pritchett); his grandchildren, Jayden Pritchett (Mackenzie Nations Pritchett), Kyler Pritchett, Kirkley Souders and Kassidy Souders; his great grandchild Ramona Pritchett; and his pets, Brody, Bella, Enzo and Smokey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Wounded Warriors Project, and Rescue the Animals.
