He was predeceased by: his mother Manuela Marentes; his wife Elida Rodriguez Marentes; his father Feliciano "Felix" Sr. Marentes; and his siblings, Felix Jr., Irene Ramon and Lupe Ramos Rodriguez.

He is survived by: his daughter Kelli Marentes of Abilene. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, and a host of extended family and many friends.
