He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Lloyd and IvaLee Sutton; his siblings, Ollie Lee Sutton, Glenda Montgomery and Loretta K. Horton; and his grandson Johnathan Ray Crawford.

He is survived by: his wife Jayne Sutton; his children, Kelly Barnett (Vince Barnett), Katrina Patnode (Dennis Patnode), Raymond Sutton (Rebecca Sutton), Lloyd Sutton (Danielle Sutton) and Robert Dwayne McGough (Georgie McGough); and his sisters, Betty Lou Winters and Iva Nell Wilson. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
