He was predeceased by: his parents, Balbina Perez and Rufino Martinez; and his daughter Amy Lee Portillo. He is survived by: his children, Sylvia Martinez, Roy Martinez Jr. (Jamie) and Tommy Martinez; his siblings, Ernest Martinez (Lisa Martinez), Mary Nelson (Floyd Nelson) and Danny (Cathline); and his close friend Chato. He is also survived by several other half brothers and sisters, 22 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
