He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Watson McCaskill and Raymond Murray McCaskill; and his brother Jerry McCaskill (Darlene Rees McCaskill). He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his sister Joyce Riggs of Danville, CA; his children, Lynne A., Lloyd Roberts of Joplin, MO, Ronald S., Michelle McCaskill of Little Elm, TX, Robert E. and Peggy McCaskill of San Antonio, TX; and his grandchildren, Kristi, Neal, Bradley, Ronnie and Patrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Elmwood Memorial Park (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606).
