He was predeceased by: his parents, Linda Faye Thomas and Weldon Morris Thomas; and his brother Weldon Russell Thomas (Buck). He is survived by: his wife Maria Lockhart; his children, Davin Lockhart, Sara Sherrod, Katie Sherrod and Sydney Thomas; and his grandson Mason. He is also survived by several nephews and his niece.
