He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" May and Anna May; his brother Randall May; and his mother-in-law Margaret Caraway. He is survived by: his wife Vicke May of Abilene; his daughter Shelly Kunkle (Joe); his grandchildren, Taylor and Grant of McGregor; his daughter Heather Spinks (Rusty); his grandchildren, Reagan and Paige; his nephew Ronnie May; and his niece Misty Jarvis.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Eastland Memorial Cemetery (500 S Marsh St, Eastland, TX 76448).
