He was predeceased by: his parents, Rito Martinez and Victoria Martinez; his son Danny Martinez; and his siblings, Raymond Martinez, Maria Gonzales and Tony Martinez.

He is survived by: his wife Eva Martinez; his sons, Eric Martinez (Angelica) and Chris Martinez (Tammy); his grandchildren, Eric, Erica, Chelsea, Christopher and Aubree; and his siblings, Johnny Martinez, Jovita Mata, Gloria Martinez, Yolanda Moreno, Barbara Martinez, Ester Nachon, Nina Ochoa and Linda Casillias. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
