It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggye E. Baldwin in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Julian and Billy Margaret Newman (Melton); her brothers, Billy E. Newman (Marie) and Wayne Newman; and her brother-in-law Bill Bowman.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Baldwin; her children, Nathan Baldwin and Dorothy Shisler (John); her grandchildren, Hope Bellew (Aaron), Chance Jordan (Bailey) and Elizabeth Baldwin; her great grandchildren, Andromeda "Andi" Hinton and Danica Jordan; her sister Betty Bowman; her siblings-in-law, Roland, Sonia Baldwin and Hoa Newman; her nieces and nephews, Mike Mallet, Jennifer Mallet, Deppye May (Paul), Thomas Newman (Anna), Margaret Hunter, Neal Newman, Beverly Wilson, Carl, Kristen Baldwin, Bryan Baldwin and Nicole Marines; and her close friends, Diane Winter, Edward Swift, Stanley Zareff and Ray Meech.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brenham Memorial Chapel (2300 Stringer St, Brenham, TX 77833).
