We bid farewell to Patsy Lilly of Abilene, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 13, 2025 at the age of 91. Patsy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Patsy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Patsy has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Rhoda Jones Clark and Ellis Lee Clark; and her husband John Cecil Lilly. She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Light of Tuscola and Tonya McBrayer of Abilene; her grandchildren, Jarrod Light (Brandi) of Newport and Lilly McBrayer of Abilene; and her sister-in-law Ida Reed of Lawn. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hendrick Hospice Care Center of Abilene.
