He was predeceased by: his parents, Polo Reyes and Nieves Reyes; his grandson Ross Ramirez; and his siblings, Cleo Reyes, Lydia Garcia, Elida Lozano, Amelia Rodriguez, Lupe Garcia, Maria Escobar and Beatrice DelaGarza.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou of Abilene; his children, Sam Reyes (Melanie) of Abilene and Micki Ramirez of Shawnee; his grandchildren, Chloe Garces (Tanner), Spencer Reyes (Maci), Grant Reyes, Oscar Ramirez (Amy), Irma Ramirez, Moses Ramirez, Neal Ramirez (Ada) and Naomi Ramirez; and his siblings, John Reyes (Otelia) and Carolina Anaya (Ramon). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
