We bid farewell to Olan Beard (Abilene, Texas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 25, 2025 at the age of 71. Olan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Story Beard and Ulys Beard; and his siblings, Billy, Jimmy Beard, Shirley Champion, Janice Sadler and Annette Beard.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie O'Neal; his sons, Jason Beard (Joy) and Ricky Beard (Robyn); his grandsons, Austin, Jackson and Luke Beard; and his siblings, Gaile Green (Bo) of Waxahachie, Don Beard (Kim) of Eula, Johnny Beard (Myra) of Dickson, Tennessee and Bobby Beard (Rhonda) of Clyde. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beltway Park South (4009 Beltway S, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Olan would be honored for memorial gifts to be sent to Boots on the Ground Ministry at Beltway Park, West Texas Rehabilitation Center, or the donor's favorite charity.
