Odell Melvin Wilson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Odell Melvin Wilson of Abilene, Texas, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Yvonne Wilson and Odell G. Wilson; his grandparents, Prince Wilson, Hattie Pearl Wilson, Warren Atkins and Mildred Carter; and his pets, Sandy and Bubbles.

He is survived by: his wife Dionne Wilson; his sons, Odell Jr. and Douglas Wilson (Shaina); his sisters, Renee Erwing and Otia Bowie; and his in-laws, Douglas Melancon and Wilson Thompson (Breeda).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the University Church of Christ (733 E North 16th St, Abilene, TX 79601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
