Though Nickie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: Juan Vasquez. She is survived by: her parents, Gloria Lopez Martinez and Albert Martinez (Dolores Martinez); her son Leonydus David Martinez; and her siblings, Albert Martinez Jr., Erica Martinez, Debra Martinez and Vickie McVey.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the North's Funeral Home (242 Orange St, Abilene, TX 79604).
