He is survived by: his wife Corine Colbert of Abilene; his children, Nelson Colbert Jr. of Abilene, Kenson Colbert (Monica) of Abilene, Etta Barnes of Abilene, Lisa Hopkins of Killeen, TX. and Dock Eugene Colbert (Gwen) of Abilene; and his sisters, Mary K. Colbert Campbell of Abilene, Willie Mae Colbert McGrigg (Anthony) of Abilene, Allean Colbert-Malory (Will) and Mary Ann Colbert James of Longview, TX. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces nephews, extended family and many friends.
