She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Mireles and Natalia Gutierrez; and her grandsons, Miguel Angel Allelo and David Devora. She is survived by: her husband Joe Doyle Roman of Baytown; her siblings, Ninfa DeAnda (Tony) and Leo (Virginia) of San Antonio; her daughters, Maria Elena Devora-Portillo (Andy Portillo) of Abilene, Angela Rangel of Abilene and Linda Alma Allelo (Juan Allelo, Jr.); her stepdaughter Mary Campbell of Baytown; and her grandchildren, Joey Devora (Jennifer) of Abilene, Laura Devora of Abilene, Jessica Rangel of Houston, Crystal Rangel of Abilene, Jon-Michael Allelo of Abilene and Jaclyn Natalia Allelo of Abilene.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the North's Funeral Home (242 Orange St, Abilene, TX 79604). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (826 Cottonwood St, Abilene, TX 79601). A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery (7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 79601).
