It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matiana Rivera of Abilene, Texas, born in Karnes City, Texas, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paulina Rodriguez and Cipriano Antonio Rincon; her siblings, Modesta Moreno, Maria, Merritt and Icidro Benjamin "Benny" Rincon; and her former husband Chano.
She is survived by: her children, John Arthur Rivera (Diana Cavazos Rivera), Rosemary Rivera (Allen Olson) and Paul Daniel Rivera; her grandchildren, Paulina Marie Caban (Sharad Kohli), Alisia Rose Caban (Tim Lewis) and Graciana Rivera Olson; and her great grandchildren, Roxi Jane Rivera Olson, Matiana Prem Kohli and Caridad Vani Kohli. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
