We bid farewell to Mary Castillo of Abilene, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 14, 2025 at the age of 77. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Mancha and Rosa Rodriquez; her son Edward James Castillo; and her siblings, Robert Jesse Mancha, Billy Joe Mancha, Roger Matthew Mancha and Mary Helen Ramirez.
She is survived by: her children, Marihelen (Arthur Zapata), Arthur Ray (Anissa Castillo), Elizabeth R. Castillo of Abilene, TX, Tracy, Jeff Howle of Abilene, TX, Sandra (James Cantu), Sergio (Carmen Vazquez) and Sheba Mancha (Malcolm Rodriguez); and her grandchildren, Alex Zapata, Randi Jo Castillo, Alexandria, Timothy Gosart, Edward Anthony Vasquez, Alayna, Felix Herrera, Payton, Jackson Howle, Andrew, Teresa and Bella Vazquez.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Logsdon Chapel at Hardin-Simmons University (1198 Ambler Ave, Abilene, TX 79601).
