She was predeceased by: her parents, Leta DeFay Mercer and Aubrey Franklin Mercer (Billy Gene Hale); and her sisters, Laura Alsdorf, Margaret Dunn, Audrey Eileen Barnes and Martha Mercer Moss.
She is survived by: her siblings, Clinton Mercer and Loretta Luster (Johnny Luster); her son Billy Hale II (April Hale); and her grandchildren, Trey Hale and Abby Hale. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
