She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnel Selden and Aleene Selden; and her siblings, Burnel C. Selden, Emily Gage and Dorothy Selden. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She became a self-philanthropist and even with limited resources donated to the Humane Society, the Food Bank, the Heart Association, St. Jude's Children Hospital, the Salvation Army, and Veterans.
