With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Howerton (Abilene, Texas), who passed away on November 26, 2023 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda Howerton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her son Steven Duane Howerton; her stepfather Donald White; her brother Howard Harendt; and her parents, W. Floys Harendt and Dorothy Averett White.
She is survived by: her friend Linda; her husband John Franklin Howerton; her daughter Lacie Marie Rivera; her grandchildren, Jessamyn Cheyenne Rivera, Alexander Antonio Rivera, Chelsea Johnson and Patty Ann Rivera; her great grandchildren, Eleanor Grace Rivera and Caroline Marie Rivera; and her brother Jon Robert Harendt. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and a community of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in Linda's honor.
