He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Herbert Mason and Myra G Burden; his former spouse Ivy "Miss Ivy" Matthews Holdbrook; his stepfather Ray Roberts (Mason); his daughter Karen Riddle; his grandson DJ Riddle; and his siblings, Atriel Rutherford, Doris Cochran, Tommy, Homer, Cliff Mason and Charles Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Mason; his daughters, Pam (Pab Patino) and Tammy Gravitt (Arlington); his children-in-law, Donald Riddle (Baird) and Kathie Holdbrook (Callahan County); his children, Missy Mason Moritz and Leroy Jones; his siblings, Jerry (Lavern Mason) and Kathy Beene; his brother-in-law Wayne Rutherford; and his grandchildren, Renee, Melissa, Alexis, Cameron, Candace, Tasha and Seth. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
