She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Kohout and Velma Kohout (Gray); her spouse Charlie Lawson; her son Roddy Lawson; her brother Douglas Kohout; and her grandson Charles Lawson.
She is survived by: her sons, Chuck, Deon Lawson of Abilene and Ricky Lawson of Stamford; her grandchildren, Amee, Pro Camacho of Abilene and Ashley Lawson of Abilene; and her sons, Lynn Lawson of Hamlin, Cody, Tristan Lawson of Tuscola, Adam, Hali Thompson of Tuscola, Wade and Keli Lawson of Buffalo Gap. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home Chapel (210 S Ferguson St, Stamford, TX 79553). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Cemetery North Swenson (1705 Hwy 6, Stamford, TX 79553).
