She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Curtis and Maudie Curtis; and her brother Bob Curtis (Lolly). She is survived by: her niece DeeAnne Myers (Curtis); her great-nephew Samuel Blackard (Gabby) of Alvin, TX; her caregiver Christina Vincent; and her friend Joyce.
Dr. Curtis donated to numerous organizations over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Christian Homes and Family Services, Disability Resources Inc., or Meals on Wheels Plus, Inc. in Abilene.
