It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hancock of Abilene, Texas, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, A. W. Hancock and Ruth Hancock; and his siblings, A. W. Hancock, Jr., Wiley Hancock and Ora Lee Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Hancock of Abilene; his daughters, Rebel Anderson (Jay) of Buffalo Gap and Mandy Wilson (Gary) of Abilene; and his grandchildren, Gary Wilson and Samantha Wilson.
