It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Calvin McDonald of Abilene, Texas, born in Highlands, Texas, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. McDonald and Bertie McDonald; his wife Frances Annette McDonald; and his sisters, Glenda Sue McDonald and Jimmie Marie Metts.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Mauldin (Darrell) of Abilene, Tim McDonald (Tammy) of Missouri City and Jon McDonald (Julie) of Abilene; his siblings, Garnetta Lee Stanyer of Grapevine, Lurany Jones of Conroe and Tommy McDonald of Conroe; his sisters-in-law, Sarah Hancock (Harold) of Burnet and Nancy Peterson (Eddie) of Snyder; his grandsons, Travis, Connor Mauldin, Dustin and Wyatt Wink; and his sisters-in-law, Casey Pollard, Katie Marchant and Callie Lucas. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
