He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Pizzorno and Joanne Pizzorno; and his brother Edward Pizzorno. He is survived by: his wife Mary Pizzorno; his children, Pamela Winkels (Jim), Michael Pizzorno (Arina) and Angela Cabrera; and his grandchildren, Justin Comparetto, Megan Hamman (Stuart), Corbin Cabrera, Gillian Cabrera, Leticija Bingelite and Sarah-Anne Pizzorno.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A rosary was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (5410 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery (7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 79601).
Memorials may be given to the Abilene Philharmonic or the Historic Swenson House Society.
