He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Margaret Wiggins McHargue and James Paul McHargue; his wife Lois May Lynch McHargue; his children, James Albert McHargue (Jimmy) and Laura Marie McHargue Lightner; and his sister Lucille McHargue Graham (Louise Horton) of Ruidoso, NM..
He is survived by: his grandson Timothy Huchton (Rebecca); his great grandchildren, Parker and Timothy; his grandson Paul Huchton (Iris); his great grandchildren, Everly and Finnley; his grandson William Huchton; his siblings, Muriel "Midge" McHargue Evans and Richard McHargue (Dolores); and his nieces and nephews, Jan Thomas (Jim), Gloria Anne Graham, Richard Evans (Lorna), Bill McHargue and Richard McHargue (Susan).
