Franklin; his children, Torin Franklin of Smithville and Jewel Byars of Austin; his stepmother Giny Franklin; his brother Donald Franklin (Carnell); his stepsisters, Cynie Youngwirth, Dana Villarreal and Stephanie Christine; his granddaughters, Pepper Franklin and Emery Ann Byars; and his pet Gerty. He is also survived by two uncles, three aunts, six cousins, one nephew, two nieces, many dear friends.
